I have to say I LOVE December and all of the traditions that come along with it being that I love family tradition so much. They make life fun! However, this year we didn't add a bunch of new ones, and some old ones we didn't do.......BALANCE had to be key at our house this year and should be every year. I have found without balance and saying "no" to some good and fun things, can help us enjoy and remember why we celebrate Christmas and not just merely run through the month on survival mode but truly enjoy the Season and all it brings!We almost cut out the tradition of sending Christmas cards this year due to lack of time to get a decent pic and it was just one more thing to do in a busy season and year really with hubby's schedule!.......Plus, who says you have to send them? We changed our minds after recieving so many cards and quickly put one together!
One of my favorite family traditions is seeing the Live Nativity at this sweet little church. They put it on for the community every year and act out the story in about 8 minutes, serve hot coco, and cookies, and give the kids a coloring book. Such a nice gift to the community and impressive considering it is such a small church!
Amelia was cold and wanted to go home but wanted to stay too to see the animals and baby Jesus.
Unfortunately, she loves to pet all the dirty animals!
