After the girls finished decorating the cookies, and Amelia ate a bunch of the candy.......they didn't actually like the cookies since they were Gingerbread cookies and not sugar cookies.....but at least they were willing to try them.

Amelia was ready for a nap but Christmas traditions leave little time for naps.........

So we were off to take pics with the characters from the movie that we have yet to see but will someday! Amanda loves taking pics with characters.

Amelia took some convincing to get close to the characters but once she warmed up, she was all about the hugs.

After meeting the characters, the girls enjoyed more fountain time.

Who knew some water, lights, and music put together could make for an entertaining show but the girls loved it.

Amelia loved it too much and we had to grab her to keep her from diving right in. She loves the water.

We were having soooo much fun playing that we didn't want the fun to end so we decided to eat an early dinner at one of the restaurants there. Eating out at a restaurant with both girls alone, is something I rarely do because Amelia is such a messy eater but...we were hungry!

We had a great time and I was thrilled to have a salmon salad! The food was good there and the service was good too until the end when I wanted the check. The waiter disappeared and the troops were tired and restless.........so we ventured out front thinking we were suppose to pay there since the waiter was gone sooo long. Unfortunately, they thought we were trying to walk out on the check and we were suddenly surrounded by people trying to help us.......so the waiter was quickly found and I assured him with a nice tip and kind words that he had done a great job but we just needed to leave.

We really enjoyed ourselves and the decorations but not as much as the past two years with daddy! We missed him dearly!
