We started the weekend off by having our bible club for tiny tots and their moms. We had decided not to host it in December due to the busy season and then I was sick in January so we were thrilled to be back into the groove:)We had 19 or 20 kids, and their moms. We had some new friends join us which is always fun. It continues to amaze me how well the tiny tots sit and listen to the story, it is so fun to see their facial expressions:)
We sang lots of songs, shook those shakers, played with the parachute, had a story, made a craft, and then ate lunch. We had a really fun time and were thrilled to see our friends:) Amanda loves getting ready for bible club and was asking everyday this past week if it was bible club day yet. The one day when I told her it wasn't she said, "oh why can't it be bible club day?" She did a great job putting the name tags onto the bags for me this time.
On Friday afternoon, after all of our bible club friends had left, I was ready for a nap, but Amanda still had a little energy to burn and talked me into making some fun stuff to add to our new centerpiece on the kitchen table. These are the coolest things! They are made from cornstarch and you just put a little bit of water on them and they stick to each other. We enjoyed making the letter A together and she made a beautiful cross and said, "Jesus died!" You can get a whole big bag of them for seven bucks at the teacher store! We do love that teacher store! Amanda likes it just as much as I do:)

The night before mamaw and pappaw were over watching her while we were out at our couples bible study, and they made a necklace, flower, doggie, bracelet and some letters. We decided to use them as our centerpiece for a while..........

Before bible club, Amanda helped me by vacuuming. She does a great job and ask to do it. She vacuumed the other day for her mamaw and got upset when Papaw messed up what she had just vacuumed! My mom told her that is why you have to vacuum everyday to which she replied, "my mom doesn't vacuum everyday!" ha Kids will tell on you every time! I am happy she enjoys cleaning but have to take pictures for the future when she no longer enjoys it. I plan on bringing out the pics then and saying, "you use to love to clean when you were a sweet young thing!"
