that almost didn't happen. We do not have much luck with getting a family picture ever. This year we were determined and when our church offered to take a family picture for their directory we signed right up! We had the outfits all ready and were so excited that finally we were going to have a nice family photo only three out of the four of us woke up sick at 2 am that morning so we had to cancel the picture. So the family was out of the question so we thought we would just get a nice pic of the girls all smiling, sitting still, and all cute and everything............ummmm.......
OK, little sis isn't going to sit still so let's just take separate pics.......
Would have been a good one if big sis would just look at the camera......
Now if little sis would just look at the camera we would be all set......
If only little sis would stop trying to escape.....

Big sis just keep looking and smiling.........OK, daddy's giving up!
But aren't you glad mommy doesn't give up so easily or we would have missed this sweet shot! Next year, I have decided that I need more time and I am going to start decorating and taking pictures in September! Oh yes, I will be that lovely neighbor with the Christmas lights in September, it can't be any worse than the neighbor that leaves lights up til February!
