The girls had a blast at the beach. It was our first visit since the big oil spill at Pensacola beach and the sand was so soft and soo white. Grandpa said they had sifted the sand for days after the spill.
The beaches are so much prettier there than some of the ones we have closer to our home.
This was Amelia's first trip to Pensacola beach. She has been to Chincoteague Island before but really seemed to enjoy the sand a lot more this year.
The nice thing about this beach is they have a dock with several showers on it right next to the parking lot for easy sand removal! (The sand at the beach is another reason Hubby is such a big fan of going to Great Wolf Lodge because there is no sand there and no sunscreen needed!)
