We said bye to great grandma which is always sad but this time we were hopeful we would see her at our house this summer so it was a little easier to leave.

We stayed at the Swan again this year because we liked it and I was afraid to try something new, but we agreed next trip we want to try a few different places after looking at them.

We always stop at the store and get all the paper products, shampoo, and of course diet coke so we have less to pack although........we still manage to pack a lot. (OK, I manage to pack a ton, I am just not a good packer. It takes me a week to pack and week to unpack.) I still do not think that's bad for four people!

Amanda remembered the hotel from last summer but Amelia did not.

We had a view of the front this time which was pretty. Personally, we do not care about views since we aren't in the room that much.

The next day we were off to a place we went last year for the first time and loved!

We love water slides at our house so we love this place!

Last year Lyndon and Lindsay were with us and we kept talking about how much we missed them throughout the day!

The melting snowman family.

Amanda the drama princess wanted to take a picture of us being in shock by the ski lodge! She is so expressive that girl!

There is a cute little putt putt place there and was included in our tickets but we ran out of time. Sometime, we would like to play here though. It was a nice little course if you have more time. Since our time is limited we like to spend it on the slides.
Since it is difficult to get pics on the waterslides and we didn't want to carry a large camera with a huge lens around.....we bought a photo pass before we left home. It was so easy to just hand the photographer our pass and have him scan it in for us. They were able to capture Amanda and her dad going down a 120 ft high waterslide. She went first so her dad could see how it was done!

Do you think he liked it?

We spent a little time in the wave pool.

I think this family raft ride was our favorite ride we rode it several times and it was nice because there was either no wait or just a few minutes wait.

Heading out after a long day for a quick shower and nice dinner.

One of the things we like about staying at Swan and Dolphin is the Boardwalk is right behind it and we could walk to dinner in five minutes.

They have a lot of weddings here.

We had a nice dinner outside and the took a walk to check out the Yacht and Beach club.

The pool there is impressive with a waterslide coming out of a pirate ship. This is one of the hotels on our list to try sometime.

Dinner on the Boardwalk. This is another great hotel and a wedding party was staying there and they were having a Disney wedding the next day.

The Yacht and Beach club is beautiful and this is where an episode of Full House was filmed and since that is our girls favorite show right now....it impressed them. It is really pretty.

We ate at the ice cream shop there and then enjoyed the walk back to the hotel. We were hoping to make the first day an early one so we wouldn't be tired but.......I have come to the conclusion that if you take a trip to Disney you are just going to be tired if you want to get money's worth!

We walked back to the hotel and crashed knowing the morning would come early!!!!!!! Day one was really fun!
