Spring Break-Turks trip 2

We got off the plane and were immediately treated like Royalty and were for the rest of our vacation which we loved!

We were driven to the Beaches resort and offered delicious punch

and cold packs to cool off since it was so hot! The girls loved this! They like to be pampered on vacation almost as much as I do!

We knew we couldn't check into our room for a couple of hours so we walked around the resort and checked out all the pools.

The French pool was our favorite and the girls loved the swim up bars. Sitting on a stool in a pool drinking a drink was a first for them and they loved it so much we had to limit how many sugary drinks a day for them since it was all inclusive and they were getting way more treats than usual this week!

Every night we went to the show which featured the Sesame Street Characters and then they allowed the children to come up and dance. Amelia ran up on stage and danced every night!
They also had comedy shows, fashion, talent shows etc that were fun to watch.

We stayed in the French village and LOVED IT! Some of our friends that go there told us to stay in another village but we loved this one and found it was peaceful and loved that we could walk 20 steps outside our villa to the pool.

We also spent a lot of time at the water park on the water slides and Amelia enjoyed the little pirate ship there. She would never come down though and I couldn't figure out why she was allowing everyone to cut in front of her. It turns out she decided to be the life guard and was telling the kids when it was safe to go. We got a lot of comments how "sweet" and "helpful" she was with the younger kids! She really loves to help younger children. So compassionate! That's my girl!

We ate lunch in the ship the first day. The girls loved that you didn't have to pay for anything you could just go up and ask for ice cream etc. Yikes! (Adjusting to real life would be difficult after this vacation.)

Cotton candy was their first treat!

Hubby and I loved the Lazy river and could have stayed on those tubes all day floating around and around if the girls would have let us but there were too many other fun things to do!

One of the favorite swim up bars!

French Village!

Our villa and favorite pool!

Love that my girls love each other and love to "listen in" on their little talks! Amanda is an amazing older sister to Amelia.

The girls discovered they love hammocks!

We thought the giant chess boards were cute but don't play chess.

The Italian Village and pool. We liked this pool too especially the "warm pool" that is what Amelia called them. She loved that the resort allows the kids to swim in the hot tubs and there was one in every pool. Yes, we tried them all out!

The water was something I just couldn't get over. It was soooo clear and beautiful. I have never seen water like that before, so gorgeous! I loved hanging on the beach and playing in the waves.

The landscaping was beautiful and it only rained once for about 20 minutes the entire 10 days! It was so beautiful there you just instantly felt calm.

Amelia loved the kids club! She went several times for special events and one night so hubby and I could have a date night.

The characters were sooo friendly and would stop and take pics with you and never rushed by like at some parks. Loved that!

Amanda is always such a great sport!

The first night we arrived early for the show to get the best seats!

The shows were really cute!

We had a late dinner that night by one of the pools. Amanda really liked this pool.

I was so happy hubby could take some time to de-stress from work! He works way too hard but then we play hard too!

We had a great first day!
